Two dates define Witcher 3 Remastered 2026. CD PROJEKT RED announced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered on August 25. Every platform named in that post is scheduled for September 29. The Witcher 3 Remastered hub has the feature list. The dates, in order, are below.

CDPR has not published another Remastered ship date.
August 25
The press page announced Remastered and showed a first look at Songs of the Past together. One is the 2026 upgrade. The other is the later expansion. Co-development is named in the same post: Remastered with Yigsoft, Songs of the Past with Fool’s Theory.
September 29
That Tuesday is the only public launch day. Steam’s Complete Edition page uses it for the free PC upgrade. The press release uses it for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, the Switch 2 native version, and Battle.net.
Same day is not the same commercial model. Steam, PS5, and Xbox are the qualifying free-upgrade platforms. Switch 2 and Battle.net are new releases. Who gets it for $0 is on witcher 3 remastered free upgrade. What CDPR has and has not priced is on witcher 3 remastered price.
Steam’s extra note for that date is the system-requirements change. There is still no published CPU or GPU table.
Leave 2022 and 2027 off this year
The next-gen update shipped December 14, 2022. It is not a 2026 event. PlayStation’s version of that older patch is on the witcher 3 ps5.
Songs of the Past is dated 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Steam currently lists the DLC as coming soon and requires Complete Edition. If a store page still says “coming soon” after September 29, check whether you are looking at Remastered or at the expansion.
